This birthday girl was inspired by the movie Avatar and what a coincidence a friend of the family just happened to be a  face painter. Perfect!! Can you imagine 12 friends running around with various Alien faces 🙂 Fun Fun Fun!! I don’t ever remember there ever being face painters back when I was 8 years old! Well not at any of my parties thats for sure 🙂 I am a bit jealous!

To be invited back again to photograph a play group is a lovely compliment! Even though I have a small amount of time with each child it is still possible to capture their fabulous smiles and little unique characters. Sometimes it takes a bit of coaxing and clowning around to find that little cheeky grin – patience always wins 🙂

Quite often the children in a playgroup are of a similar age and have close birthdays so if that is the case with your group what about a playgroup session to capture your child at play around their birthday?? Do you have grandparents that you just don’t know what to gift them for their birthday or Christmas?? What about cheeky portrait of their grandchildren!! 🙂 A fabulous idea!

Little posers these young smiling cherubs were! And they were so patient waiting for their turn while we fussed over their brand new brother for his first ever portrait session 🙂 He was sleeping while we model him and the girls chilled in the bedroom. Beautiful canvasses and prints now decorate the family living room to admire everyday. A gentle reminder how time can fly and the kids grow up all too fast 🙂

Fiona is the owner of her Perth based Business ‘Mini Diva Tutu’s and Accessories‘ who designs and hand makes all  her products. Each tutu is hand made and sewn (not tied) to ensure quality that will last the hours and hours of play time. The lace leggings are gorgeous and compliment the tutus with elegance.

Fiona was recommended to me as she wanted her products photographed in a way to creatively showcase the pieces to her ideal target market … Mum’s of Mini Divas of course 🙂
