Beep, Beep, Beep – Rise and Shine! Time to get to the beach before the sun rises! What! Why so early you ask? It’s a magical time of day for beautiful soft light of course:) I love this time of day for portrait photography. In fact I love this time of day regardless if I have an early morning session or not. Young children are mostly up before the sunrises anyway so why not have a morning with a difference and take them outside for some fresh morning air and playtime with some photography thrown in too. You can see from these pictures how beautiful and soft the light is.
The first image in the slide show is one of my favourites! You could not have captured this image by asking a 3 year old to pose like this. The trick …. let him run up the sand dune (because he couldn’t keep still) then run down to meet Mum and Dad. Only he decided to run down behind Mum and Dad and strike his own pose. Classic! I love letting the children do their thing. Keeps me on my toes with camera to my eye watching and waiting for their little quirky playful personalities to appear.
